As Socrates once said, “Speak so I may see you,” today we say, “Translate so I may see you.” In this spirit, the “Future of Education” Foundation continues to implement its initiative “Translate”, which aims to advance the global movement of translation from and into Arabic, serving as a bridge between civilizations and cultures.
The initiative seeks to strengthen communication between Arab thought and global intellectual currents in various foreign languages, as well as to translate new knowledge across different fields into Arabic. The goal is for translation to be more than a traditional task—becoming an active tool for cultural and intellectual exchange, helping societies gain broader knowledge.
Moreover, the initiative aims to be a means of producing and enriching Arab knowledge. It opens new avenues for disseminating Arab creativity abroad through translation into major living languages, in collaboration with leading publishing houses in Europe, Asia, Africa, the Gulf countries, and China.
