The Mishkati Foundation for Development focuses on supporting national efforts in social development, women’s empowerment, and poverty alleviation, aligning closely with the objectives of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the state’s plans to achieve sustainable development.
At the local level, over the past years, the foundation has organized charitable campaigns and community initiatives in governorates such as Giza, Fayoum, Beni Suef, Minya, and Upper Egypt. These initiatives aim to support the most vulnerable families and economically empower female heads of households through small projects such as poultry farming and vocational training.
The foundation has also signed cooperation protocols with Egyptian and international entities to strengthen efforts against irregular migration and to provide psychosocial support for vulnerable groups.
Currently (2025), Mishkati is preparing to launch major projects, including:
-
Rural Women Empowerment Project
-
“Protect Your Future” Initiative for raising awareness about the risks of irregular migration
-
Mobile Mental Health Clinics Project, covering villages in Upper Egypt
Through these programs, Mishkati aims to actively contribute to the implementation of Egypt Vision 2030 in the fields of education, health, clean energy, and social justice.
