Mishkati Foundation for Development and Its Role in Cultural and Scientific Conferences

The Mishkati Foundation for Development places great importance on cultural and scientific conferences and events, which represent a key component of its strategy to promote intercultural dialogue and raise community awareness.

The foundation organizes local and international cultural and scientific conferences and seminars that address issues related to women, social development, and human rights. It also works to promote cultural and therapeutic tourism through activities that combine cultural and humanitarian dimensions.

Furthermore, the foundation seeks to participate in United Nations events related to sustainable development, including:

  • Commission on the Status of Women (CSW)

  • Commission for Social Development (CSocD)

  • High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF)

  • United Nations Human Rights Council and the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) sessions

Through these participations, the foundation aims to share its field experiences on international platforms and contribute to shaping policies that promote social justice and empower vulnerable groups—reflecting the voice of Egyptian civil society in global forums.
